Admission process

Kampala Quality School is a vibrant, enjoyable and positive learning community that provides a friendly, caring, secure, environment offering quality education where children develop self discipline, a strong desire to learn and be successful.

  1. Age Eligibility:
The first step in the admission process is to ensure that the student meets the minimum age requirement set by the school. This age criterion ensures that the child is developmentally ready for the educational program. The specific age requirement may vary depending on the level of education being sought, and it's important for the parent or guardian to confirm their child's eligibility before proceeding with the registration.

  2. Registration Requirements:
Once the age eligibility is confirmed, the next step is the registration process. During registration, the parent or guardian is required to provide certain documents to initiate the admission procedure. The necessary documents include:

    a. Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Baptism Card: This document serves as proof of the child's age and identity. It helps in verifying that the child meets the age eligibility requirement for the desired program.

    b. Two Passport Copies: These passport-sized photographs are necessary for identification purposes and to create the student's records.

  3. Written Interview:
After the registration and submission of the required documents, a written interview is conducted with the prospective student. This interview may include questions about the student's interests, educational background (if applicable), and any special considerations that may be relevant for their academic journey. The purpose of the interview is to understand the child better and ensure that the school can cater to their individual needs.

  4. Filling Forms:
Upon successful completion of the written interview, the parent or guardian is required to fill out an application form. The application form collects essential information about the student, including personal details, emergency contacts, and any specific medical or dietary requirements that need to be taken into consideration during the child's stay at the school.

  5. Signing Rules and Regulations:
As part of the application process, the parent or guardian is required to review and sign the school rules and regulations. This step ensures that both the parents and the school are aware of their respective responsibilities and commitments regarding the child's education and conduct while at the school.

  6. Admission Offer:
After completing all the necessary steps in the admission process, the school provides the parent or guardian with an admission offer. This offer confirms the student's acceptance into the school for the specified academic year or term.

  7. Issuance of Admission Package:
Upon accepting the admission offer, the parent or guardian receives an admission package. This package typically includes the following documents:

    a. Copy of the Rules and Regulations:
This document outlines the school policies, procedures, and guidelines that the student and their parents or guardians are expected to adhere to during their enrollment.

    b. Brochure or Newsletter:
The brochure or newsletter provides detailed information about the school, its academic programs, extracurricular activities, facilities, and other important aspects of school life.

    c. Payment Details:
The payment details, such as the tuition fees, any applicable deposits, and payment schedules, are provided to the parent or guardian. However, it is important to note that these payment details are issued only after the parent or guardian has completed all the required registration steps and provided the necessary documents.

By following this well-structured and comprehensive admission process, we aim to ensure that each student is enrolled in a manner that facilitates their overall growth, development, and success in our school.
